nicoPlace is designed to keep your history close to you. This policy explains what information the app uses, when Apple services are involved, and where your data stays.
1. Information Collected
The App uses your location information. This information is processed only on your device and is never sent to the developer or any third party.
2. Purpose of Use
Your location information is used solely to provide the App's features, such as check-ins and map display.
3. Use of External Services
The App itself does not transmit your information to the developer or any other third party. Certain optional features rely on external providers as outlined below:
- Apple Maps: the App uses Apple's Map API to display maps. In this process, your location information may be sent to Apple.
- iCloud: if you enable iCloud sync, your data will be stored on Apple's iCloud servers to allow synchronization across your devices.
4. Accounts and Registration
No account or user registration is required. The App does not collect any personally identifiable information.
5. Ads and Analytics
The App does not use advertisements, analytics tools, or third-party libraries that collect user data.
6. Data Storage
- By default, all data is stored only on your device.
- If iCloud sync is enabled, your data may also be stored on Apple's iCloud servers.
The developer has no access to your data in either case.
